DART Support
DART eBook Program (Effective 6/22/26)
The Day One Access to Resources and Text (DART) program is offered in select National University courses, where students have immediate access to an embedded electronic textbook (eBook).
Key benefits:
-
Immediate Access to required course materials on the first day of class
-
Affordability – We work hard to secure the most competitive prices for academic resources, keeping costs below fair market value for students.
-
Accessible – Download the VitalSource Bookshelf app to access your materials on your phone, tablet, or PC.
For participating courses, to access your eBook(s), once your online course begins, click on the ‘Bookshelf’ link located in the top navigation bar.
For first-time users, you will be prompted to create a VitalSource Bookshelf account. Please be sure to use your NU Student Email address during account creation. This step will ensure you can access your Bookshelf account outside of your course. Please Click Here, or copy and paste the link below in your browser, and follow the instructions: https://www.vitalsource.com/login
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Academic & Finance Counselor at advisor@nu.edu or contact the Academic & Finance Advising Queue at 1-800-628-8648.
