Part-Time Faculty Desk Copy Requests

Part-Time Faculty are able to receive one complimentary copy of the textbook for their upcoming course by submitting a Desk Copy Request eForm.

Full-Time Faculty Desk Copy Requests

Full-Time Faculty are able to receive one complimentary copy of the textbook for their upcoming course by submitting a Desk Copy Request eForm.

Textbook Change Request

If the assigned textbook in SOAR is the out of date or out of print edition, the Course Lead or Academic Program Director may submit a Textbook Change Request eForm at least 8 weeks prior to the next course offering.

Custom Integration Agreement

If a third-party integration is being requested, a Custom Integration Agreement eForm will need to be submitted by the Course Lead or Academic Program Director. This process could take a minimum of four (4) months to complete.

VitalSource Bookshelf

VitalSource Educator allows free eBook access for faculty. Instructors can create an account with VitalSource to get an online copy of the book if it is available. It could take a few days to get your account approved since the publisher will need to verify instructor credentials.

DART eBook Program

The Day One Access to Resources and Text (DART) program is offered in selected National University courses, where students have immediate access to an embedded electronic textbook (eBook) for optional purchase.  Instructors will have access to the DART eBook, if it is embedded in their course, at least one week prior to the start of the course.

Faculty Textbooks Department

The Faculty Textbooks department supports requests from processing faculty desk copies and embedding e-books into online courses, to textbook management within SOAR and assisting with third-party integrations.
