Intern Support Verification (ISV)
The Intern Support Verification (ISV) tool exclusively supports University Interns within the Sanford College of Education (SCOE).
For University Interns

As a University Intern you can access the ISV tool directly within your online course in Brightspace. As you regularly track your hours in the ISV form, submit the appropriate details of your internship hours by including the following​:

Date
-
Activity Type
-
Number of Hours
-
Type of Support: “Employer” or “University”
-
Count Hours Towards: “General Support” or “E.L. Support.”

Certify the Honor Agreement
Once submitted you can edit the information while it is pending approval. If the status shows Approved or Not Approved, you cannot make changes or corrections to the submission.
For Administrators and Faculty

Assigned administrators and faculty can access the ISV tool directly within the online course in Brightspace. In the ISV tool, you have the ability to manage your students' internship hours that have been submitted and the status of their teaching credentials. Within the ISV tool you can manage all of the following:

View internship hours/teaching credentials that need approval

Approve, reject, or edit internship hours

Remove approvals or rejections from internship hours

Delete internship hours

Approve teaching credentials

Change the status of student's teaching credentials

Download reports

Download Course Roster Report

Download student's timesheet

Certify the Honor Agreement
By default, as instructors, you will only have access to the courses you are currently teaching or have taught in the past. If you don’t see your course, contact our Online Learning and Instructional Support (OLIS) team at OLIS@nu.edu.
