You can access your Brightspace courses by logging in through SSO: login.nu.edu. Click on the D2L button to access Brightspace. Review Accessing Your Course for more detailed instructions.

Brightspace supports the latest updated versions of most browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. For more information, please refer to the Brightspace browser support page (https://documentation.brightspace.com/EN/brightspace/requirements/all/browser_support.htm)
To update your notification settings, log in to Brightspace and click on your name on the upper right of the screen. Then, click Notifications from the drop-down menu. (See visual directions below) You can choose to receive alerts via email or SMS for announcements, grade updates, feedback, and more.
Click on your name and press "Notifications."
Under "Contact Methods," you can choose to edit or add an email address, register a mobile number, or delete any notification method option.
Scroll down to customize the types of notifications you receive by clicking the boxes under "SMS" and "Email." To stop receiving notifications, click the box until it is unchecked.
Press the blue "Save" button at the left bottom hand of your screen to save your notification preferences.

If your course offers a DART eBook, it can be found in the DART eBook section of your course in Brightspace. To find the DART eBook, follow these steps: Getting Started > DART eBook (Click HERE for Access) > VitalSource Digital Materials.
Instructors are able to receive a complimentary copy of the textbook for their upcoming course by submitting a Desk Copy Request eForm within SOAR. For more information visit https://www.atalearning.org/faculty-textbooks.
If the assigned textbook in SOAR is the out of date or out of print edition, the Course Lead of Academic Program Director may submit a Textbook Change Request eForm within SOAR at least 12 weeks prior to the next course offering. This information is not automatically updated once a new edition of the assigned textbook is available. For more information visit https://www.atalearning.org/faculty-textbooks.
